A NOTE!!!!
/////// -------- As of August 27 2009, while rummaging over old CDs, I found old folders and files of past projects. I stumbled upon the site of Snarky (which you are reading now) and I can't help it but feel nostalgic over the fandom that have once been a part of our lives. Initially, this was hosted in geocities but since I already have my own space, I decided to bring back part of life history (mine and monique's friendship) and share what we shared as sailormoon fans.

You will find bits of changes (especially in contact info) on some parts of this site. They are updated as so to make communication easier if neccessary.

Hope you enjoy our little site!

Introduction
Seiya and Haruka: The Subtextual truth.
By Monic

Allow for a moment for me to indulge in my defense of this pairing. Our fandom world is ruled by a certain insanity, after all what normal person would go around collecting anime memorabilia and dress like some punk kid with a sword? (ducks rocks and kitchen sink).

Okay, wrong example.

First off, I’m stating once and for all that the Seiya and Haruka pairing is not canon, in fact we are treading softly in the realm of subtext. However as most Sailor Moon fans know Haruka can generate chemistry with just about anyone onscreen.

So it’s not far-off to see the chemistry between the two. What chemistry, you ask? The antagonistic type of chemistry, at first meeting Haruka and Seiya did not go well on the right foot they instantly marched into the realm of mutual dislike. And it was fun to watch!

All along they continue to gripe, rant and glare at each other meaningfully that somehow my mind got into thinking, why not those two? After all isn’t it said that the hate is just the coin opposite love?

Second of all, we’re not here to upset the standing relationships these two have. I believe in my heart that Haruka and Michiru belong together, and that Seiya is in love with Kakyuu or if you’re an anime fan, Usagi.

We’re just here as a fun alternative to your viewing pleasure so allow us to lend you our subtext glasses and join our ride into the snarky love affair that is Seiya and Haruka.
